A Great-tasting Green Tea

This is my very first food blog here at Families.com. I decided my first blog would be about my favorite green tea, because, well, I ran out of green tea at my home this morning and I am certainly thinking that I want to get some more of it.

A friend of mine introduced me to a wonderful Celestial Seasonings green tea called Blueberry Breeze. This tea has such a sweet flavor that after I tried it the first time, I knew I'd be purchasing my own very soon. And, I bought some of it during my next trip to the grocery store.

I have been drinking my tea with either milk or cream (whichever is in the refrigerator at the time), but after reading Want Healthy Arteries Don't Put Milk in Your Tea about cream being bad for arteries, I've decided no more milk or cream for my tea. It's hard to say goodbye to cream, since it's such a wonderful substance, but I know my body will be better off without it! And this Blueberry Breeze is great just how it comes or with a little sweetener (I use Splenda brand).

By reading several articles recently I have learned some of the amazing benefits that come from drinking green tea. One blog/article that gave me some good info about green tea was The Benefits of Green Tea. To be honest, my joints have been bothering me lately, and I am in my mid-20s. I don't know if my joint pain is because of the very cold weather I've been living with here in Colorado or just an early sign of arthritis (I certainly hope not!), but I have been a little achy this past week. Well, since I started to drink my Blueberry Breeze green tea again, these past 3 days my joints haven't hurt much at all. And it's still cold outside!

One can imagine that I'm planning to continue to drink green tea often. My current plan is to sip on one large cup of it throughout each of my days at home. Why not? The tea is enjoyable, it gives me a fun daily regimen, and it helps my body in many different ways.

If you'd be interested in trying green tea, I would certainly recommend the Celestial Seasonings Blueberry Breeze. You might be surprised just how good green tea can be; I know I sure was!
