I named this recipe Romans Pants for two reasons. The first is because I put this together pretty much by the seat of my pants when we were running late for a concert and needed a quick dinner. The bonus of this recipe, is that it can very easily be taken along with you to eat "on the way.

Bacon is meat that comes from the side of a pig and has been cured and smoked. Because it is the fat in bacon that makes it so tasty, fat should be 1/2 to 2/3 of the total weight of the bacon. Slab bacon is bought in large slabs and has to be sliced. It is moderately cheaper than sliced bacon.
