Chicken Wings Football Fans Will Love!by Libby Pelham | More from this Blogger 17 Jan 2006 10:29 PM Football fans love chicken wings, so if you are planning a Super Bowl party, you may want to plan to fix one of these recipes. There are many different ways to fix chicken wings, but here are some of the best. Sesame Chicken Wings Shopping list: soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, green onions, garlic cloves, sesame seeds, cayenne pepper, and three pounds of chicken wings. These wings should be allowed to marinate at least two hours, so give yourself plenty of time to prepare them in advance. In a large plastic bag, combine 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of water, 1/4 cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 4 sliced green onions, 2 medium garlic cloves minced, 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds, and a dash of black and cayenne pepper. Seal the bag, shake well and add the chicken wings. Shake the bag lightly to coat the wings. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, turning the bag over occasionally. Bake the chicken wings in a shallow pan on 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn the wings and bake 25 minutes longer or until tender. This will make about 6 to 8 appetizer servings. Buffalo Chicken Wings Shopping list: Four pounds of chicken wings, Louisiana hot sauce, butter, cayenne pepper, white vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, ranch or blue cheese dressing, and Dijon mustard. Make up the sauce beforehand by combining 6 ounces of Louisiana Hot Sauce, 1/2 stick of butter, 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard. Mix well and set aside. Heat your deep fryer to 370 degrees. Sprinkle the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Fry the wings in batches until crispy - about ten minutes. Drain on a paper towel then dip into the sauce while still hot. Be sure to have plenty of ranch or blue cheese dressing for these!
