Meet a Families.com Blogger – Valorie Delp!

Welcome to a new series here in Media Reviews, where we will get to know our Families.com bloggers a little bit better. Our first interview will be with Valorie Delp. Valorie, how long have you blogged for Families.com? I started in June of 2006. What topics do you blog about? Currently–homeschooling, food and baby (or as someone else aptly put it–the breastfeeding blog) What is your favorite thing about blogging for Families.com? Coffee Cake Cobbler

Meet my new favorite breakfast cake: the coffee cake cobbler. This is a great dish to bring to a pot luck. You are sure to get rave reviews. But what I especially like about this recipe is that you can use any flavors you want making the cake your own unique creation! Apricot-Walnut Cereal Bars

These bars are super easy to make and … Continue reading

Nifty Things to Do With Crescent Rolls

I had a living room full of hungry eyes staring at me. I had a brilliant idea. Why it has never occurred to me to stick stuff in crescent rolls before, I can’t tell you. But it only makes sense that stuffing them with some delicious filling, makes for a delicious snack and can make for an impressive spread. They bake perfectly every time and so they make a no … Continue reading

A Month in Review

I know, I know. I’m supposed to do a week in review every week. That’s the whole point. But I got super busy (especially on weekends when I usually write the week in review) and missed it. Now I’m faced with a dilemma: skip the week in reviews that I missed. . .post them separately, or do them as a month. So here I am, bringing you the month in review. (I do have to mention another reason I am behind on my weekly reviews is that I’m working on a BIG project for the food blog! Shhhh. . .don’t … Continue reading
