Smoked Sausage in a sauce

With Christmas over now, my family is already tired of the usual left overs and wanted something different. So, I decided to totally change things and make a smoked sausage dish. This dish takes a while to make, but it is worth it. I always make extra so I can have some the next day on a bun. It is really good and filling.
