As many of you know, the bloggers were on a break for a little while. They came back right about the time I left for vacation so if you’ll allow me, I am playing catch up. Who Needs Take-out? Make Your Own!

Who doesn’t love breakfast sandwiches from a fast-food drive-thru? Last night after the football game, my family and I were contemplating what to have for dinner. We had planned on grilled salmon with white rice and broccoli. However, after snacking on artichoke dip and cheese dip with tortilla chips, our appetites just weren’t up for a complete meal. We’re always nagging our children to eat breakfast. After all, it’s “the most important meal of the day”. But how many of us follow our own advice, or even remember why this meal is supposedly important? Breakfast food is comfort food to many of us. Maybe because it’s a lost art.
